Lead generation

How much does lead generation cost in Latvia, and what is in the price?

There is no single market price for lead generation, because providers charge in different ways: a fixed monthly retainer, a fee per lead, a fee per booked meeting or a commission on the deal. Our client pipeline (lead list, emails and AI agent) costs €600 per month + VAT, or €726 with VAT, with no annual contract and no setup fee. Before you pay, you get a free test batch within two days.

How much does lead generation cost in Latvia?

Our price is €600 per month + VAT for the whole client pipeline: a lead list with a hook for every contact, an email system, an AI agent and the sending infrastructure. With 21% VAT, that is €726 per month. There is no setup fee and no annual contract, and you can cancel the subscription with 30 days' notice.

Other providers' prices depend on what they charge for. Some bill by the month, some per contact or per meeting, and some take a percentage of the closed deal. So you can only compare like with like: what is included in the price, what costs extra and what happens if there are no results. Below is a table with our terms, followed by one with the pricing models.

What lead generation pricing models are there, and how do they differ?

The five most common models are a monthly retainer, a retainer with a setup fee, pay per appointment, a retainer with commission and commission only. Pay per lead is a sixth option. Each model splits the risk differently: in one you pay for the work, in another you pay for a result that the provider defines.

We found no public average prices for the Latvian market in the sources we checked, so the ranges come from Belkins, a company that sells this service itself. These are prices in US dollars, not Latvian prices, and the source does not mention VAT. They are useful for a sense of scale and for comparing models, not as a benchmark for your budget.

What does our €600 cover, and what costs extra?

€600 per month + VAT covers four parts, and none of them is billed separately. The first is the lead list: companies that match a profile we define together with you (industry, geography, size, decision maker's role), with a hook for every contact, meaning a specific, verifiable fact about that company. We take contacts only from public sources and do not buy ready-made address lists.

The second part is the email system, which sends the first email and a follow-up sequence in your name. The third is the AI agent, which reads replies and continues the conversation. A person reads every email it writes before it is sent. The fourth is the infrastructure: warmed-up domains, reasonable sending limits and opt-out handling. Your salesperson receives the warm conversation with the full email history.

On top of our invoice comes 21% VAT. Channels other than email and your website chatbot are connected only by separate agreement. The mailboxes, domains, lead list and collected data belong to you from day one, so you can also hand the system over to another provider.

How it works step by step: lead generation. If you only need a list without emails: lead databases.

What is the cost per lead?

We do not charge per lead, so you can work out the cost per lead yourself: divide the monthly fee by what you count as a result. An example, not a promise: if your salesperson got 10 warm conversations in a month, one would cost €60 before VAT. With 5 conversations, it would be €120.

Use the same calculation to see whether the service can pay for itself. Compare the price of one conversation with what you earn from one client and with how many conversations your salesperson usually needs to close a deal. Only you know these numbers, so we do not quote an average payback period.

It matters what you call a lead. A contact on a list, a reply to an email and a conversation in which a person wants to talk about your offer are three different things with three different prices. We wrote more about what makes a good contact in "What is a quality lead database?".

Pay per lead, pay per appointment or a retainer: which is better?

No model is better for everyone, each one shifts the risk to a different side. The right choice usually depends on your deal value and on whether you have a person who turns warm conversations into deals.

Pay per lead looks safe, because you only pay for what you get. But the provider may find it more profitable to deliver many contacts than good ones. The cost of this model is the time your salesperson spends on weak contacts.

Pay per appointment works if a meeting is a clear result for you and the contract states which role and what size of company the meeting must be with. The cost of this model is the high fee for every meeting and disputes about whether a meeting "counts".

Commission on the deal works for larger, rare deals where the provider is willing to wait. The cost of this model: from every closed deal, you give part of the revenue to the provider.

A retainer gives you a predictable invoice and clear responsibility for the work, and the mailboxes and data can stay with you. The cost of this model is the risk of paying in a month with no conversations. We reduce this risk in two ways: there is a free test batch before the first payment, and you can end the subscription with 30 days' notice.

Which models does your situation rule out?

Some things rule out models before you even compare prices.

  • No one to talk to a warm prospect. If your company has no salesperson who answers conversations the same day, no model pays off. First find this person.
  • Unclear target client. If you cannot name the industry, region and decision maker's role, paying per lead means paying for random contacts. Start with the profile.
  • Small one-time deal. If one client brings in less than one meeting costs, pay per appointment and commission do not work. Look at a monthly retainer and cheaper channels.
  • You want to keep the system. If it matters that the mailboxes, domains and list stay with you after the work ends, ask about it before signing. With us, they are yours from day one.
  • Cold email is a new channel for you. Before you compare prices, read "Is cold email legal in Latvia?". If you are thinking of buying a ready-made list, read "Lursoft or a purchased lead database".

Is the lead generation price with or without VAT?

Our prices are without VAT, and 21% VAT is added on the invoice. €600 per month + VAT means €600 + €126 = €726 per month. When you compare offers, check whether the amount is with or without VAT, because the difference is 21%.

Foreign providers often quote prices in dollars. The invoice may come in another currency, so the final amount in euros changes with the exchange rate. That is why the table does not convert the Belkins ranges into euros.

How do you start with a free test batch?

Before any payment, we prepare a free test batch: a small sample of leads in your segment, each contact with its own hook, within two days. You review it yourself and only then decide whether to pay for the full pipeline.

To start, just tell us what your target company looks like: industry, region, size and who makes the decision. You get the test batch in CSV or XLSX format, the same as the full list later. If the test batch does not fit, you pay nothing and there is nothing to cancel.

How do you compare lead generation offers?

Compare the answers to the same questions, not the amounts. Ask each provider to answer these seven in writing:

  • Is the price with or without VAT, and in which currency is the invoice?
  • Is there a setup fee and a minimum contract term?
  • How do you end the work, and with how much notice?
  • Who owns the mailboxes, domains, lead list and email history after the work ends?
  • Who writes the emails, who reads the replies, and does a person check the text before it is sent?
  • What does the infrastructure include: domain warm-up, sending limits, opt-out handling?
  • Can you see a test sample in your segment before you pay?
