What makes a quality lead database?
A quality lead database is not "big"; it is precise and usable. Four traits define it:
- Freshness. Contacts are current, not harvested years ago.
- Verification. Contact validity is checked, not just assumed.
- Real published contacts. The emails are ones the company has actually published, not formula-generated guesses (for example, "name.surname@domain").
- ICP fit. Every record matches your target profile instead of just filling rows.
Why do verifiers get Microsoft 365 mailboxes wrong?
This is one of the places where our experience makes a difference. Many SMTP verifiers flag Microsoft 365 mailboxes as "invalid" even though they are perfectly valid: a false negative. The reason: Microsoft 365 servers often do not answer standard verification requests the way the verifier expects, so the tool wrongly concludes the address does not exist. If a database is filtered only by such a check, part of the real, reachable contacts is lost. We know this and do not blindly filter contacts by a single SMTP verifier; instead we work with source credibility and manage deliverability operationally.
