How much do Instagram and Facebook ads cost in Latvia?

Instagram and Facebook ads have no fixed price list: Meta sells ad placements in an auction, and you set the budget yourself. Meta recommends starting with at least USD 5 and running an ad for longer than six days. On top of that comes the cost of the work: our ads management costs €250 per month + VAT, and four simple ad videos cost €100 + VAT.

Is there a price list for Facebook and Instagram ads?

No. Meta does not publish one price per click or per thousand impressions, because ad placements are allocated in an auction. The Meta for Business pricing page (checked 25 October 2026) names ad quality, bid strategy and the result goal as cost factors. The budget type (daily or for the whole period) and the campaign objective add to them.

So the question "how much does it cost" splits into three separate amounts for Meta ads. The first is the ad budget, which you pay directly to Meta. The second is the work on the campaigns: your own time or a contractor's fee. The third is the ad creative, usually short videos. When you compare quotes, always ask which of the three amounts the price includes.

The three amounts that make up the cost of Instagram and Facebook ads, checked 25 October 2026.

What budget do Facebook and Instagram ads need per month?

You set the budget: either a daily budget or one amount for the whole campaign period. Meta recommends a budget that can be spent over at least seven days, so the system has time to learn from the results (Meta for Business, checked 25 October 2026).

With a daily budget, Meta can spend more than the set amount on better days. The figures differ between Meta's pages. The developer documentation says up to 25% more (Meta's example: USD 10 per day, up to USD 12.50). The Meta for Business pricing page says up to 75% more, but weekly spend does not exceed seven daily budgets. When you plan your money, it is safer to calculate by the weekly limit.

With a budget for the whole period, the total is not exceeded, but daily spend varies. Meta's example: USD 250 for five days can split as 50, 50, 75, 25 and 50 USD.

Budget typeHow it worksWhat can differ from the plan
Daily budgetThe average amount you are willing to spend per dayMore on a single day: up to 25% (developer documentation) or up to 75% (pricing page); no more than 7 × the daily budget per week
Budget for the whole periodOne amount for the whole campaignDaily spend varies; the total is not exceeded unless you change the settings

What is the minimum budget for Meta ads?

Meta does not publish one minimum in euros. The Meta Business Help Center says the minimum depends on the industry, budget type, buying type, bid strategy, optimization, currency and schedule. The article itself notes that the amounts are in US dollars and can differ between countries. If your budget is below the minimum, Ads Manager shows a warning while you set up the campaign.

A different question is the minimum at which it makes sense to pay for management. We recommend starting with an ad budget of about €300 per month or more. With a smaller budget, our €250 monthly fee becomes out of proportion to the budget itself, and we say so before work starts.

What drives the cost per lead or per purchase?

Cost per result is the budget divided by the number of results, and you see it in Ads Manager after the first days of a campaign. Nobody can tell it in advance, because the auction sets it. What you can calculate is how much a lead is allowed to cost you.

An example with made-up numbers, not market data. If one customer brings you €200 in profit and every fifth lead becomes a customer, a lead can cost up to €40. With a €300 monthly budget, that means at least 8 leads just to earn back the budget; if you also pay for management, count both amounts together. If a lead costs more in the first weeks, change the ad, the audience or the offer, not the budget.

The cost also depends on what you ask the system to look for. Meta writes that optimizing for purchases can need a larger budget than optimizing for landing page views, because a purchase is harder to get.

What limits the budget in your situation?

Some limits are set by circumstances, not by what you want. Check them before you plan the budget.

  • A cost per result goal needs a large budget. Meta writes that with this bid strategy the daily budget should be at least 5 times the cost per result goal. If the goal is USD 5, you need at least USD 25 per day. For example, with an €8 goal that is €40 per day, about €1,200 per month. This strategy does not suit a small budget.
  • A narrow audience. Meta's pricing page says ad sets with an audience of at least 2 million people often perform better. If you show ads in one city, in one language or to a narrow interest group, you may not reach that size. Ads Manager shows how large your audience is in the settings.
  • Three languages. The audience in Latvia speaks Latvian, Russian and English. Each language needs its own version of the video, or at least its own voice and on-screen text; the visual part can stay the same.
  • Nowhere to send people. Without a page or a form where people can sign up or buy, the ad budget goes into views that cannot turn into leads.

Do you pay VAT on Meta ads?

Ask your accountant. The invoice for the ad budget comes from Meta, not from us, and how to report it in your VAT return depends on your company's situation. This is not tax advice.

Our prices are without VAT, and we add 21% VAT only to our own services: management €250 + VAT per month, videos €100 + VAT.

How much does Meta ads management cost, and what is included?

Our ads management costs €250 per month + VAT, fixed, not a percentage of the budget. It covers campaign setup on Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and, if needed, Google Ads, target audiences, ad copy, day-to-day management, conversion tracking and a monthly report. The ad budget is not part of this amount. More: ad campaign management.

A fixed fee has its own trade-off. If the budget is several thousand euros per month and the goal is brand advertising at scale, a percentage model usually works out cheaper than our fixed fee. We compare a fixed fee and a percentage for Google Ads in a separate article: how much Google Ads management costs.

We create the ad account in your company's name and add ourselves as users. There is no annual contract and no setup fee, and you can end the work with 30 days' notice.

How much does an ad video for Instagram and Facebook cost?

Four simple ad videos cost €100 + VAT with us. They are vertical (9:16), 15–30 seconds long, edited from your photos and videos or from stock footage, with a synthetic voice and subtitles in Latvian, Russian or English. The format fits Instagram Reels and TikTok.

A simple video is an edit of existing material, so the picture is only as good as the material. On-site filming, actors or 3D are a different process, and we discuss their price separately. More: ad videos.

When do Instagram and Facebook ads not pay off?

Ads do not pay off in three cases. First: the budget is below about €300 per month and you also pay for management. Second: there is no page or form to sign up on. Third: nobody answers the leads. In the first case, it is cheaper to run the ads yourself or to start with organic content.

We do not promise results in advance. The first weeks go to setup and data collection; after that, the monthly report shows you the real cost per result, and you can decide whether to raise the budget.

What do we offer for Instagram and Facebook ads?

We manage Meta and Google ads for €250 per month + VAT, fixed, and make simple ad videos: four for €100 + VAT. You pay the ad budget directly to Meta from your own account, and it does not go through us. We recommend starting with a budget of about €300 per month or more.

The ad account, data and history are in your company's name from day one. There is no annual contract; you can end the work with 30 days' notice and no penalty. If you are not sure whether ads will pay off for you, start with a free 90-minute consultation.

The monthly amount is the budget you pay to Meta plus, if a contractor runs the ads, the fee for the work. We recommend a budget of about €300 per month or more; our management costs €250 per month + VAT. Ads Manager shows the exact cost per click or per lead after the first days.

Is there a minimum budget for Facebook and Instagram ads?

If the budget is too low, Ads Manager shows a warning while you set up the campaign. If you also pay for management, we recommend a budget of about €300 per month or more.

Yes, on some days. Meta's developer documentation says up to 25% more, the pricing page up to 75% more. Weekly spend does not exceed seven daily budgets (both pages checked 25 October 2026). Plan your money by the weekly limit. With a budget for the whole period, the total is not exceeded.

How much does your ads management cost, and does it include the budget?

learnxMI ads management costs €250 per month + VAT, which is €302.50 with 21% VAT. The ad budget is not included: you pay it directly to Meta or Google from your own account. There is no setup fee and no annual contract, and you can end the work with 30 days' notice.

Do you take a percentage of the ad budget?

No. The learnxMI fee is fixed, €250 per month + VAT, whatever the size of the budget. So we have no interest in raising your budget. If the budget is several thousand euros per month, a percentage model elsewhere can work out cheaper, and we say so openly. You pay the budget directly to the platform from your own account.

Who owns the ad account?

You do. learnxMI creates the Meta and Google ad accounts in your company's name and adds itself as a user. If the work ends, the account with all its history and data stays with you; nothing has to be moved and nothing has to be recovered from another contractor. The same applies to analytics accounts.

When is it not worth starting Instagram ads?

When the budget is below about €300 per month and you plan to pay for management. Also when there is no page or form to sign up on, or nobody to answer the leads. In these cases learnxMI says so before work starts and suggests another route, for example running the ads yourself or preparing the page first.
