AI opportunity audit
What is an AI opportunity audit and who needs it?
An AI opportunity audit is a short, structured review of a company's processes that identifies where artificial intelligence and automation will deliver the fastest practical result: in customer inquiries, sales, the website, data or internal processes. Unlike a financial or quality audit, it assesses automation potential, not accounting. learnxMI (Rīga) offers it in Latvia for free: about 3-4 minutes, with 2-3 concrete directions as the result.
How does an AI opportunity audit differ from a financial or quality audit?
In Latvia the word "audit" usually means a financial or quality review: accounting, compliance with standards, risks. An AI opportunity audit is something else. It does not assess your accounting and does not issue a compliance opinion. Its goal is one thing: to find where artificial intelligence and automation will deliver the fastest practical result.
So it should not be confused with a mandatory or regulatory review. It is a voluntary, forward-looking assessment: not "was everything correct in the past" but "where can you save time and win more clients in the future". A simple example: a financial audit answers whether the numbers are right, while an AI opportunity audit answers where human work can be sped up or partly replaced by automation.
How does the AI opportunity audit work?
The audit starts with a short online questionnaire: 16 short questions about your industry, processes, customer inquiries and the tools you already use. It takes about 3-4 minutes and requires no preparation. The questions cover both the customer journey (where inquiries come from and what happens to them) and internal work such as reports, preparing quotes and re-entering data between systems.
The answers are then evaluated, and you receive 2-3 concrete automation directions: for example, customer inquiry handling, systematic follow-up, a website for AI search or internal reporting automation. We send a short summary with these directions to your email within a few minutes. The next step is a short conversation where we discuss them for your specific company. You can fill in the questionnaire here.
What does the company get?
The result is not a long report nobody reads. The company gets a clear picture of which processes automation would pay off in first, and a ranked list of directions to start with:
- Where the company loses time or inquiries.
- Which 2-3 directions would deliver the fastest practical result.
- A concrete next step instead of an abstract "digitalization strategy".
The main value is priority. Most companies could automate dozens of things, but they do not all pay off equally. The audit helps avoid a common mistake: starting with the technically most interesting thing instead of the one with the fastest payback.
Who is the AI opportunity audit for?
The audit is designed for small and medium-sized companies in Latvia, roughly 10 to 250 employees, that have repeatable processes: customer inquiries, sales, quote preparation, reports or order processing.
A typical example is a service or trading company where inquiries come in by email, phone and social media and are handled by a team of a few people with Excel and email, without a unified system. It is most useful for companies where one person "keeps everything in their head", where some inquiries get lost or where a lot of time goes into manual work. If there are practically no repeatable processes, the audit will honestly show that as well.
Why is the audit free?
The honest reason: the free audit helps us understand whether we can be useful at all. Instead of selling a meeting, we first see the company's situation and only then propose a next step, or say that automation is not needed right now.
For you this means a low threshold: a few minutes of time, no sign-up and no obligation to buy anything. For us it qualifies the conversation: we talk only with those for whom the direction actually fits. That is fairer for both sides than a paid consultation whose value cannot be judged in advance.
What does this audit not do?
To avoid misunderstandings, it is worth saying what the audit does not do:
- It does not promise "miracles": AI is not magic, and not every process should be automated.
- It does not assess accounting, finances or legal compliance.
- It does not require an immediate decision or purchase.
- It does not replace a detailed technical project: it is the first step, not the last.
The audit shows the direction. Whether and how to implement it is up to you.
How learnxMI does it
learnxMI builds the audit as a practical, not theoretical, instrument. The questionnaire is short; the answers are evaluated by a person, not only an algorithm; and the result is concrete directions tied to real solutions: client acquisition, a website for AI search or internal process automation. We do not promise that AI will solve everything, and we do not claim to be the only ones doing this in Latvia; we simply start with a clear, free first step.
Frequently asked questions
Is the AI opportunity audit really free?
Yes. The questionnaire and the initial assessment are free and require no sign-up. Paid work starts only if you decide to implement one of the proposed directions.
How long does it take?
The questionnaire itself takes about 3-4 minutes (16 short questions). It is followed by a short conversation scheduled at a time convenient for you. Nothing needs to be prepared in advance.
Do I need to prepare or buy anything?
No. Knowing your own processes is enough. The audit carries no obligation to buy anything; its purpose is to show the direction, not to sell a solution on the spot.
Does it fit my industry?
The audit fits most service, trading, manufacturing and local companies with repeatable processes. If automation is not justified in your case, we will say so.
