How much does a social media video ad cost in Latvia in 2026?

A social media video ad in Latvia costs from €99 for a 15-second AI clip to €390 and more for a filmed video, and most providers do not publish prices. Our 4 simple vertical videos cost €100: they are edited from your material or stock footage, with a voice and subtitles, and without filming.

How much does a social media video ad cost in Latvia?

On the websites of Latvian companies that publish a price, video ads started on 25 October 2026 at €99 for a short AI-generated clip and at €390 for one filmed video. A company video with filming starts at €2,690. Many video makers do not publish a price and write "on request" or "individual".

These amounts cannot be compared with each other. For €99 at an AI studio and for €390 at an agency you buy different things: in one case a machine generates the picture, in the other there is filming with a camera operator, lighting and sound. Our €100 for 4 videos, that is €25 per video, is a third class: editing from ready material with a synthetic voice, without filming.

The table shows only amounts visible on public pages. Each provider gives the final price after an estimate, and it can be higher than the "from" price.

What drives the price of a video ad?

The price is driven not by the seconds of video but by the work around them: the idea, filming or choosing material, editing, voice, versions and rights. Two quotes with the same amount can cover very different work, so first find out which items each one includes.

You also cannot simply divide a monthly package by the number of videos. One agency states on its page that about 20 short videos per month cost from €1,990, and warns itself that this amount should not be divided by the number of videos.

What do you get for €100 for 4 videos?

For €100 you get 4 simple vertical videos in 9:16 format, each 15–30 seconds long. We edit them from your photos and videos or from stock footage, with a synthetic voice, burned-in subtitles and text in Latvian, Russian or English. A person watches every video before delivery; it is not a fully automatic process.

What is not included: filming on site, actors, 3D and complex editing. By default we do not publish the videos to your accounts; we deliver the final files. We do not promise views or sales. For music we use tracks with usage rights; if you want a specific popular song, its license and the responsibility are yours.

The price is €100 + VAT.

You can watch a real example on the video ad page: built-in furniture, Riga, in Latvian, 25 seconds, with a voice and subtitles. It was made with exactly this process, not specially for a demo.

We generate Latvian voice for client videos regularly. Where it still makes mistakes, we described in the article does AI speak Latvian. For a food supplement brand in the European Union we produce video content in several languages.

Why are AI video and editing cheaper than filming, and what do you lose?

They are cheaper because there is no filming day: no camera operator, lighting, sound, location or people on camera. The generation itself costs little. In its Gemini API pricing, Google lists about USD 0.10 per second of 720p video for the Gemini Omni Flash model (Standard tier, 25 October 2026). So generating a 15-second clip costs around USD 1.50.

  • Fits: testing ad variants, short product videos, repeated formats (for example a weekly offer), versions of one video in several languages.
  • Does not fit: a brand film, a video with your staff, a complex product that has to be shown in close-up, and 3D or scenes with actors. That is a different process with filming, which we discuss separately.

That is the developer's own cost, not the price of a video. The project price is made up of the idea, throwing away the unusable variants, editing, voice, rights and the human check. So €99 or €25 per video is not "USD 1.50 plus a markup" but working time.

Without filming you lose a real location, your own team on camera and close-ups of the product if your material does not have them. In editing, the result is only as good as the source footage. A simple video fits some tasks and not others:

Do you also need to pay an ad budget?

Yes. The video is only the material; to show it to people who do not follow you yet, you have to pay the platform an ad budget. You pay this budget directly to the platforms, and it is included neither in the video price nor in the ad management price.

Our ad campaign management costs €250 per month; the budget is extra.

A video by itself does not guarantee views or sales. The result also depends on the budget, the target audience and the page the video leads to. If you do not have such a page yet, start with a website.

Do you have to label an AI-generated video ad?

Since 2 August 2026, Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires transparency for AI-generated content too, including images and video. What this means for a business we described separately: do you have to tell people a bot is answering. This is not legal advice.

In practice, ask in the quote who adds the label and where: in the video itself, in the description or in the ad settings.

Who owns the video and the music?

This should be written into the quote, because paying for the work and owning the rights to the result are not the same thing. Ask whether you get only the final files or also the project and the source material, and whether the video can be shown in ads with no time limit and on all platforms.

For music we use tracks with usage rights; the license for a specific popular song is your responsibility.

What should you ask for in a quote to compare two prices?

You can compare two prices only if both quotes answer the same questions. Send this list to both providers:

  • How many videos, and how long?
  • Do you film, generate with AI or edit from my material?
  • Who writes the script and the on-screen text?
  • How many revision rounds are included?
  • How many languages, and which versions (9:16, 1:1, 16:9, 15 and 30 seconds)?
  • What music, and who owns its license?
  • Who owns the final files and the source material?
  • Who adds the AI label, and where?
  • Is the price with or without VAT?
  • When does the deadline start: from the order or from when the material is sent?
  • Are publishing and launching the ads included in the price?

Why should you compare VAT separately?

Because Latvian websites state VAT in different ways. One studio shows prices without VAT, one agency writes that VAT is not applied, and another adds VAT on top. If one quote includes VAT and the other does not, the difference may be only the tax, not the work. Compare both amounts the same way: either both with VAT or both without.

What do we offer?

We make 4 simple vertical video ads for €100 + VAT: edited from your photos and videos or stock, synthetic voice, subtitles, text in Latvian, Russian or English, and a person watches every video before delivery. If you need filming, actors, 3D or complex editing, that is a different process, which we discuss separately based on scope.

Send us the material you already have, and we will tell you whether it works. More: video ads. If you do not know where to start yet, there is a free AI audit.
